The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has specific information protection requirements that go beyond the general requirements of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).

Based on the FedRAMP requirements, the U.S. Department of Defense has defined additional security and compliance requirements for cloud computing in its DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG).
