We are planning to deploy XMLSpy 2016 via Windows Terminal Server. Does Altova permit this deployment type and, if so, are there certain restrictions to be aware of?
Altova permits the deployment of XMLSpy via Terminal Server. However, in this case you have to purchase Concurrent Use licenses and be aware of the following two restrictions: – the number of installations of the software may only exceed ten times the number of permitted users – the total number of concurrent users accessing the software at the same time may never exceed the number of permitted users (purchased licenses)
For example, if you have bought 5 Concurrent Use license, you may have up to 50 installations, but only 5 users accessing the software at the same time.
