A Team Foundation Server 2017 license grants the use of a SQL Server Standard without causing any additional licensing requirements. Which regulations need to be taken into account in this scenario?
This scenario requires the compliance with the following:
- the SQL Server instance can be deployed on a separate server, independent of the Team Foundation Server installation
- the use right is granted for a SQL Server Standard only, which does not resemble a fully-featured license
- the SQL Server may only be used by the Team Foundation Server; different scenarios may cause additional licensing requirements
